One-Week Walden, 2006, High Definition digital video, 10 minutes
One-Week Walden is an account of my experiences trying to replicate a Walden-like experience during a weeklong stay in a pop-up camper parked in my father's backyard. In the process of realizing the implausibility of this action, I tell a story about my feelings and thoughts during the experiment and create free-associated dramatizations drawn from fantasies of what I had hoped would happen.

Ms. Walden Woods Dancehall Queen, 2006, digital video, 1.5 minutes
Erotical dancing to a Trina song in the woods while wearing a furry warrior woman costume cobbled together from scraps of costumes from past projects such as Bigfoot Movie and an abandoned video project in which I wanted to recreate the TV show ALF with myself as the title role. This sequence is also included in One-Week Walden.

Out of Synch, 2004, digital video, 5 minutes
In Out of Synch, I perform an emotional karaoke cover of the song Frozen by Madonna, however the sound of my voice does not synch up with the movements of my lips and body. During my performance, I am by myself in my living room. I look directly into the camera, self-consciously confronting both my own image in the viewing screen of the camcorder and my future imagined audience.

Bigfoot Movie
2004, Super 8 transferred to digital video, 9 minutes
In Bigfoot Movie, I portray a lonely Bigfoot character wearily wandering Brooklyn in an attempt to connect to other forms of life. Inspired by the notorious Patterson-Gimlin film of the 60's in which Bigfoot is caught striding through the woods, Bigfoot Movie was shot on Super 8 film to evoke a home movie/documentary, fact vs. fiction quality.

Dancing Girls, 2002, Super 8 and VHS transferred to digital video, 9 minutes
Using images of young girls dancing in the 80's culled from talent shows and home movies filmed during my childhood, Dancing Girls explores the awkward yet emotive abstract expressionist process of dancing and the vulnerable relationship of a dancer to her audience.
